At The Learning Center we believe in the environment as the third teacher. This means, we view parents, guides and the classroom as equally important parts in our whole child approach. Through Montessori inspired education, we guide children through the early years, focusing on life skills, social-emotional learning, nature and play!
Whole Child
From life skills, to social-emotional learning
At The Learning Center we believe in the inherent abilities of each individual child. We aim to meet children where they are, by supporting and accommodating their unique and individual needs and skills. Classes are determined by age groups and allow children time and space to learn and practice developmentally appropriate skills.
Classrooms
Each of our classrooms focuses on providing developmentally appropriate education and play opportunities! Children spend ample time outdoors, have access to center based play inside of the classroom and practice life skills daily. Each week, classes spend an hour in a focused Nature Classroom, learning about nature and how to be stewards to the environment!
